The Whole Woman Center is located in a charming, century-old earthen plaza near downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The newly
renovated building houses a beautiful, spacious studio featuring hardwood maple floors, arched windows, and high-tech sound system. State-of-the-art
heating, cooling, and air filtering systems assure comfortable, healthful air quality year round.

Classes at the Whole Woman Center are based upon the concept of natural female posture and the realization that almost all women will require
a restructuring process of their total musculoskeletal framework. This could take months for some women and years for others. Classes are structured
by ability and women placed accordingly. Women can sign up for as many classes as they wish.
The basic class is 90 minutes long. Class begins at the barre where we work on the most basic elements of standing posture. Several elements
of classical ballet are introduced here, as much of ballet is exercise in natural human form and movement. Next we move out onto the floor to
practice what we learned at the barre, adding elements of balance and locomotion. The intensity of this workout will vary with class level and
no one will be pushed beyond her ability to experience joyful, beneficial movement. Class concludes on yoga mats where we practice stretching,
relaxation exercises, and the seated postures.
